Bafana Bafana?!!!

It was on the 7th of September 2012 when 2010 world cup hosting nation got the opportunity to play against the 2014 soccer world cup hosts on their grounds. Yes I'm talking about South Africa having played a friendly match against one or the world's greatest power house of soccer nation Brazil. The South African soccer team seems to be growing stronger since their knew coach who is experimenting with some young experienced players who played the game very well throughout the game as they kept control of the ball especially defensively. We of course are very proud in the way that South Africa played even the Brazilian supporters were cheering our players on as it seems like there are some technical issues regarding the Brazilians. First of all the Brazilians did not bring on their samba on the field and were therefore denied many goal scoring opportunities. There is also a young player in the team who has been acting like a premadonna but has yet to deliver which has lead to the Brazilians calling him a "papirano" if I'm not mistaken, which means popcorn. However even though the Bafana Bafana played dominantly in the game, Brazil eventually scored in the eightieth minutes of the game resulting to 0 to 1 for Brazil which was heartbreaking for most of us who were hoping that South Africa would for once beat Brazil. So although we may be proud of the way they played we still expected a win which unfortunately was denied to us when our top strikers like Siphiwe Tshabalala and Bernard Parker failed to deliver and at the end of the day we can only give the credit for being in control and playing better compared to the Brazilians who most of them were young inexperienced players just by the way.

South Africa at last at least scored 2 goals against Mozambique which I have to say played very well throughout the game unlike SA who kept giving the ball away too many times so to say. Finally some scoring so say those who know where we coming from but we can't really celebrate beating a team like Mozambique no offence but even though they were really good. I would like to see SA beat the strong African soccer nations like Angola, Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt and Cameroon and Gabon which at least they have beaten before. I think the team is in good spirits thanks to their coach and they are growing stronger and I can actually see the fast techniques and skills they are using in the games which just need to be perfected with discipline. The boys have a lot do and I think they have a chance at being the African Champions in 2013 and will soon also be able to beat teams like Brazil, Argentina, Italy, France, Uruguay, Portugal, England, Germany, and Spain now that I and many soccer SA supporter would like to see and how great that will be.
